🇸🇪 Our Classes at the Swedish School of Colorado

At the Swedish School of Colorado, we offer engaging, age-appropriate language and culture classes for all ages — from toddlers to adults. Whether you’re raising bilingual children, supporting students through school years, or learning for yourself, we have a class for you!

👶 Infant & Toddlers(Ages 0–2)

Our youngest learners join a playful, sensory-rich environment filled with songs, rhythm, and movement — all in Swedish. These sessions are caregiver-assisted and designed to build early familiarity with the language through bonding and fun. (A guardian has to stay with the child in the classroom for this class)

🧒 Early Learners (Ages 3–4)

Through interactive storytelling, games, crafts, and music, preschoolers begin to develop foundational Swedish vocabulary and phrases. These classes balance structured learning with creative exploration in a nurturing setting. (A guardian have to stay at the school for this class)

🎒 School-age children (Ages 5–20)

For school-age children and teens, we focus on building Swedish reading, writing, and speaking skills. Students are grouped by age and proficiency to ensure a fun, supportive, and challenging environment tailored to their learning level.

🧑‍🏫 Adult Learners

Whether you’re starting from scratch or reconnecting with your heritage, our adult classes offer a relaxed, conversational setting to build practical Swedish language skills. We emphasize useful vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural context — no prior experience needed

Björnär 1 (adult beginner class is currently at max). Priority enrollment is for those already on the wait list and current students. After June 1, current students from Björnbär 1 who have not signed up are not guaranteed a spot.

💵 Tuition & Discounts

The Swedish School of Colorado offers the following class pricing per 10-week term (all prices in USD):

• Infant & Toddlers (0–2 years): $75 (~$7.5 per class)
• Early learners & School-aged children (3-20): $215 (~$21.50 per class)
• Adult: $230 (~$23 per class)

NOTE: Please note that you would pay the full semester tuition even if you join a class later in the semester.

📉 Multi-Class Discount

👉 Receive a 10% discount per additional youngest student when registering two or more students in the same term.

🕒 Class Times

All classes at the Swedish School of Colorado are held on 10 Sundays (See exact dates on our Calendar).

• Early learners, school-Age and Adult Classes: 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM (2.5h)
• Infant & Toddlers (Ages 0–2): 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM (1.5h)

📝 Registration Process

To register, simply fill out one form per family, including all students you wish to enroll. After submitting the form:

1. You will receive a secure payment link via email.
2. On the first day of class, we will meet with each student and assess their Swedish level.
3. Based on this informal evaluation, we will place the student in the most suitable class to support their learning and engagement.
